Contents - Read & Write Access

We use this in order to create & update your CODEOWNERS file. If you're interested in a low-permission version with this excluded, let us know! We're working on a version of our app which doesn't maintain the CODEOWNERS file.

Issues - Read & Write Access

We use this permission for interactions with our Codeowners Bot & the pull requests it creates to maintain your CODEOWNERS file.

Metadata - Read Access

This is a required permission for GitHub apps. We also use this permission to gather information about the collaborators in your organization.

Pull requests - Read & Write Access

We use this to fetch pull requests from your repository. We require this data to make our calculations and suggestions about codeownership. We use the write access to make a pull request with our changes to your CODEOWNERS file.

Members - Read Access

We use this permission to fetch information about the different team members of the teams in your organization.

Email addresses - Read Access

We use this permission to get information about the user who installed our application. This helps us link an installation with a particular person.
